ARTH Relief Policy
To relieve the customers from the hardships caused by the loss of business during the lockdown, ARTH offered all eligible borrowers extended relief measures for the term loan installments for the period between 31st March to 1st June 2020.

Basis this policy, the borrowers were classified under the following categories:

• Category I: Customers who Opt-In for relief

• Category II: Customers who voluntarily Opt-Out of relief

• Category III: Customers from whom we could not elicit a response within 7 days of the next scheduled center meeting date (scheduled repayment date).

• Category IV: Customers with Conditional Opt-In for relief.

Under the Relief Policy, more than 2000 women in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana received an interest waiver for rescheduling repayments in the above date range.

For customers who opted out of the policy, the benefits of Hospicash were extended to over 100 women. Hospicash was extended to protect the poor who have limited access to healthcare facilities and are predominantly informally/self-employed.

ARTH has been at the forefront of extending support to the marginalized to ward off the health emergency.
